I’m going to help you pronounce a word that many students have had difficulties with. the word is entrepreneur.
An entrepreneur is basically someone who runs a business venture or who assumes the responsibility for this business venture.
So, I’m going to try to break this word down for you so that it seems a little bit easier to pronounce.
So, let’s take a look. First, it’s aw… awn… awntra-pre-new-er
It’s not really that difficult but as this word comes from French originally,
the spelling is quite different from the pronunciation in modern English.
That’s why it is a stumbling block for so many students.
So let’s take a look one more time: awn-tra-pre-new-er
“My son wants to be an entrepreneur when he grows up.”
